
Ghiwa Bou Issa
Following her graduation from Saint Joseph University in 2012, Ghiwa dedicated her time to help children overcome their learning difficulties. Splitting her efforts between her studies and her work she managed to pursue her Master’s Degree in psychomotor therapy in 2015.
For over 10 years, Ghiwa focused on schools for special needs children and also practiced in her private clinic. She built a diverse experience in therapy for kids and adolescents diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder, Dyspraxia, intellectual disability and many other pathologies. Ghiwa also worked on coaching parents and teachers to extend therapy into the child’s home and school.
In 2016, and following her collaboration with “Lien Systémique Group Sarl”, Ghiwa had the opportunity to work as Academic Consultant. There, she collaborated with other colleagues to create adapted programs for kids with special needs and assisted administrative work like kids’ admission and staff recruitment.
Ghiwa holds many certifications including re-education of writing, inhibition and problem solving in psychomotor therapy, sensory modulation disorder for children with an autistic spectrum disorder, re-education of the child’s memory disorder.
Lately, she was working in Lebanon at “Melkart College”, where she conducted psychomotor group sessions for kindergarten to detect learning difficulties at early age and elementary school. In addition, Ghiwa proposed adaptations and techniques to accelerate the academic evolution process of each student.
